These terms are the agreement between you and SkyCrypt LLC, registered in Maryland, which runs SkyCrypt at sky.shiiyu.moe. By using SkyCrypt you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What SkyCrypt is

SkyCrypt is a stats viewer for Hypixel SkyBlock. It shows data from the public Hypixel API for any player, and it is free to use without an account.

SkyCrypt is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. It is also not affiliated with or endorsed by Hypixel Inc.

Stats and estimates

The stats on SkyCrypt come from Hypixel and are usually a few minutes old. Some player details, such as rank, can be up to a day old. Some numbers, such as networth, are our own estimates based on market prices. We do our best to keep everything accurate, but we can’t guarantee that any stat or estimate is correct, and you should not rely on it for trades or purchases.

Your account

You sign in with Discord, and you need to be at least 13 years old to do so. You are responsible for what happens through your account, so keep your Discord account secure.

SkyCrypt only ever asks you to sign in on sky.shiiyu.moe. Sites that copy SkyCrypt’s design to steal accounts exist, so check the address before you sign in.

You can delete your account at any time in Dashboard, Settings.

Rules

When you use SkyCrypt, you agree not to:

• scrape the site, or send automated requests other than through the SkyCrypt API;
• try to get around rate limits, bans, bot protection or other security measures;
• attack the site, overload it, or look for weaknesses in it without permission (to report a security issue, contact us on Discord);
• pretend to be SkyCrypt, its staff or another person;
• use SkyCrypt to harass other players or to break the law.

If you break these rules, we can remove content, revoke API keys, or suspend or ban your account. Our staff decide this case by case.

The SkyCrypt API

You can request an API key from your dashboard. We review each request and can approve or deny it without giving a reason. If you get a key, you agree to our API Policy.

We can change the API, lower your rate limit or revoke your key at any time, especially if you break the API Policy. We provide the API for free and without any promise that it stays available.

Patreon perks

When you support SkyCrypt on Patreon and connect your Patreon account, you unlock supporter perks such as a profile emoji. Patreon processes all payments under its own terms, and questions about charges or refunds go to Patreon.

Which perks exist, and what support level unlocks them, can change over time. Perks you choose, such as your profile emoji, are visible to everyone who views your Minecraft account on SkyCrypt. Staff can remove a perk that is used to break the rules, such as an offensive emoji.

Content you submit

When you submit something to SkyCrypt, such as an API access request or a profile emoji, you are responsible for it. You give us permission to store and show it as needed to run SkyCrypt. We can remove anything that breaks these terms.

SkyCrypt’s code

SkyCrypt’s source code is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 and is available on GitHub. These terms cover your use of the site at sky.shiiyu.moe; they don’t limit your rights under that license. The SkyCrypt name and logo are covered by the brand asset license in the repository.

Availability and liability

We run SkyCrypt as well as we can, but we provide it as it is, without guarantees. The site can be unavailable, slow or wrong at times, and we can change or remove features.

As far as the law allows, SkyCrypt LLC is not liable for losses caused by using SkyCrypt, by stats that turn out to be wrong, or by the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

We will update these terms when SkyCrypt changes. If a change affects you in a significant way, we will announce it in the newsroom before it takes effect. If you keep using SkyCrypt after that, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. If you live in the European Union, you can also bring a claim in the courts of your own country, and its consumer protection laws still apply to you.
